  1. User-Provided Content: When you use the AI analysis features, you provide text descriptions (meal entries) and images (skin analysis).
  2. AI Analysis Data: To provide insights, this information is transmitted to our AI partner, Google (Gemini API), to generate analysis. We do not use your images or meal data to train any public AI models.
  3. Technical Usage Data: We collect basic diagnostic information (such as crash logs or app performance metrics) to ensure a high-quality experience.


2. How We Use Your Information

  1. Core Functionality: To provide nutritional insights and skin health wellness guidance.
  2. History & Insights: To aggregate your wellness logs into an encrypted local timeline within the App.
  3. Security: To maintain the integrity of your personal account and historical data.


3. Your Data Security (Our Commitment)

We prioritize your privacy above all else:

  1. Local Encryption (SQLCipher): Unlike many other wellness apps, Wellness Key Insight stores your health history locally on your device. We use SQLCipher for end-to-end encryption, ensuring that your wellness data remains private and inaccessible to third parties, even if your device is compromised.
  2. Secure Transmission: Data is transmitted to our AI services via encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS).


4. Third-Party Services

  1. Artificial Intelligence: We use the Google Gemini API to process your requests. Google’s processing of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
  2. No Selling of Data: Wellness Key Insight does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.


5. Your Rights and Choices

  1. Access and Deletion: You have full control over your data. You can delete your historical wellness logs and interaction data directly through the App settings at any time.
  2. Permission Management: You can manage camera and storage permissions through your device’s settings.


6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take immediate steps to delete it.


7. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of these changes.
